All change
We have moved hotels for the weekend as my boss, martin, is in town for the shanghai mayor's advisory board conference. We've moved over the river to the grand hyatt in pudong. Pudong is the equivalent of london's docklands, not much more than 10 years ago it was mainly rice fields, now it looks like manhatten! The hyatt is the world's tallest hotel, you check in on the 54th floor and I'm on the 78th, this is my view:
The weird building on the left is not a spaceship, it's the tv tower. The middle of the three skyscrapers is the one tom cruise jumped on to in mission impossible 3, if I find some rope and a parachute I might give it a go later!
