First Night
Fresh off the plane we met the only person I know in Shanghai my friend from School Claire for dinner. She took us to Xintiandi which is an area of the old town that has been preserved and restored and is full of shops, bars and restaurants. Most of the rest of old Shanghai seems to have been bulldozered to create skyscrapers!
